Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly connected, commercially savvy leader to drive our strategic outreach efforts across the financial sector. This role requires deep experience in financial markets, strong business development capabilities, and a proven ability to open doors at the highest levels. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in evaluating and initiating potential merger or strategic partnership opportunities, positioning our company for long-term growth and scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead outreach to key industry players to explore potential M&A or strategic partnership scenarios.
     
  • Leverage your network in the financial market to generate conversations with decision-makers (C-level, Corporate Development, Strategy).
     
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape the company’s strategic positioning in conversations with larger or synergistic players.
     
  • Develop and present tailored strategic narratives to potential partners or acquirers.
     
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of market trends, competitor moves, and ecosystem dynamics.
     
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified partnership/M&A leads, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
     
  • Represent the company in high-stakes commercial conversations with professionalism, credibility, and strategic insight.
     

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in commercial, corporate development, investment banking, or financial services roles.
     
  • Demonstrated track record of successful business development or strategic dealmaking in the financial sector.
     
  • Deep, active network in the financial and investment ecosystem (banks, fintechs, asset managers, family offices, etc.).
     
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of navigating high-level strategic conversations.
     
  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with a high degree of ownership and discretion.
     
  • Experience in M&A, capital raising, or strategic partnerships is a strong plus
