JOB PURPOSE

Unicoin is seeking a creative and resourceful Publicist to lead media pitching and relations. This role focuses on amplifying our brand presence, securing press coverage, and building strong relationships with local media outlets. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, understands the fintech and startup landscapes, and is skilled at crafting compelling pitches that resonate with diverse audiences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute a local media strategy to increase brand visibility for Unicoin.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in finance, entertainment, and technology sectors.
• Craft and pitch unique story angles that align with Unicoin’ brand goals and the interests of the media.
• Organize press events, interviews, and media appearances, including virtual and in-person formats.
• Track media coverage, analyze results, and prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
• Collaborate with the global Unicoin marketing team to ensure message consistency and alignment with global campaigns.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in public relations, media pitching, or communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proven ability to pitch stories and secure media placements in top-tier outlets.

• Background in fintech, startups, or entertainment PR. is a plus
• Experience with crisis management and media training.
• Skilled at using media monitoring tools and tracking analytics

• Flexible and adaptable – can manage change and work comfortably with ambiguity
